I have already bled every fiber of my being with this car.:sosad: I am completely punch drunk.) I was considering new cams but I would not be switching out the ECU. I'm pretty happy with the OEM and Cobb combination.
Your happy now that the engine isn't noise, well wasn't... I was extremely happy with my reflash and my adjustments, but when I went with drop in pistons, BC cams and springs...It sounds like a mini diesel. The ecu noise threshold wasn't working with my noise lv and that is why I had to change.
I will tell you this, the aem tuned right can hold a 750rpm idle with 2,000cc injectors and can also do a lot of things that the stock ecu would falls short. Either way you wont see a huge gain in cams, so far I haven't but sadly i'm still on the stock snail. I can rev it to 8,200rpm and it feels dam sexy, but theres no power in my case lol.
