It looks tacky on interior pieces, IMO. I got my console 3M carbon wrapped and it has held out amazing! Plastidip is best used for car exterior like paint and rims.

6680 Thanks this is the type of info I'm looking for. I've seen people even use truck bed spray liner on interior parts to texture it then paint over it before.

6684 ok here is my first thoughts after a little test drive. Shifts alot smoother. Like cuttin butter with a hot knife smooth!! I have bigger hands and it fits a lot better than the stock knob. I'll have to give ya a update on how it is when you get in a very hot vehicle. 10 out of 10 hands down!! JJ definitely put a lot of thought in this shift and I have to say so far it's perfect!!!

Every person who has one of these shift knobs absolutely loves them! You got yours free through the raffle and I paid for mine. However, quality is beyond top notch!

What are these red things on the coolant lines by the intake?

I'd assume another form of a heat wrap for tubes, to keep the heat off the intake tube.

6692 Well wtf, I want some!

6694 the real question is are they good to have on the coolant lines?

Do you think it keeps heat from getting in to the coolant or worst getting out of the coolant?

6695. Not sure, but that engine bay is stupid. The guy still has the u joint gallon jug inside of the fender and is missing the snorkel. I can't imagine much air is getting to the intake as intended.

6696 Yep i noticed that as well and the fact that he's paranoid about heat and had to disconnect the coolant reservoir portion hoses to install those makes me wonder why he didn't relocate it to the fire wall.

I've actually been researching catch cans and am considering trying to get a catch can that has the coolant reservoir built in and relocating to firewall. I've seen some Honda aftermarket ones and wondered if you could mod it to work.

The only reason I'd consider it would be to use the coolant reservoir to heat the catch can to better accumulate the moisture.

See there's some interesting set ups out there that I'm researching but relocating the coolant expansion tank could be another can of worms I just thought it would be an interesting way to heat the catch can durring the winter months to make it more efficient.
