GD Rehabilitating an abused bugeye

I've been thinking that too but hey it's free. The new wheels I'm saving up for I can't figure out what color I want. I love the bronze look but don't know if that would work with a silver car. The other color is dark gunmetal.

Mr. Boost Leak himself. Shop didn't put the coupler on the throttle body correctly and it got mangled by the clamp.

Oh wow that's clever! Can you pick up another coupler hose until you can get a silicone one in? or does that shitty mechanic's shop have any laying around?

Just got back from the mechanic, I drove my company vehicle up there and chewed some ass out. He told me to bring the car back so he can fix and I told him to eff off he isnt touching my car again.

Boost leak fixed. But I need a new rubber grommets for the intercooler.

yay! you should have let them fix it and then drove their cars until a wall while waiting.

Owners wife did have a nice 350z until he took the twin turbos off it so she felt "safer".

Thank you, still trying to figure out which direction I wanna go with it. Im stuck between keeping the exterior mostly stock (sleeper) or giving my car the rally look because I am an avid kayaker and the car could pull off the kayak rack look much better if I went the rally path.

No matter what you do your car will look awesome as its a bugeye...... Just saying you can't go wrong....

Haha, ain't that the truth! I'm keeping mine as stock as possible. I've got a reciever hitch on it so I can make up some carriers or racks for what ever I want to bring along.

I really only like the rally look on the bugeye and earlier imprezas myself. I love the spotlights on the bugeyes, and the roofrack does look awesome on the bugeye as well. In the end either way it will look badass because it's a bugeye.

I vote for whatever you wanna do, but I agree with the roof rack comment. They look good on a bugeye, As for someone's comment about the 350Z being useless without a turbo, a buddy of mine has a NISMO 350Z and it's pretty stout without a turbo. It's all about what you want to do with the car.

Yeah I think im going to order the lightbar/skidguard, mudflaps, yakima kayak carrier, and some hella lights. I think it will look pretty sick. All the subies that I see in the metro area go for the lowered street look, so the car will be kinda unique.
