What happened to suspension first! Sheesh!

For me there is nothing like the feeling of lateral G's.

I finally finished up my suspension yesterday and my car pulled just over 1.2 G's according to my phone. The best I was ever able to get out of the STi using the same phone was .98... I'm sure I could have done better in the STi if I did the same type of modifications.

It's amazing really. The thing just snaps around corners and feels so crisp.

Straight line acceleration has nothing on twisties and turnies and a well composed follow through IMO. To me, that is what makes the difference between a car that can accelerate and a car that is fast.

I debated it back and forth 1000 times in my head and a few times with my buddy Ande at work, I just have to stick to my original plan. I know what lies down the other one....

I think no matter what you do it will end up great no matter what. If it turns out anything like the last one I don't think you could do wrong no matter what road you take to be honest.

Looking forward to the build.

Got everything in other than the Whiteline Gear Bushings, can't wait to install them all this weekend!

Well, the STi now handles like a go kart, but the bushings were a no go. Apparently you need to drop the rear subframe or have a special bushing removal tool to get at the diff bushings. I didn't order the inserts, I ordered the full replacements, DOH! I will probably hit up Kizen Tuning to see if it is something they can do relatively cheap. I will throw up some installed pics later on when I am not to lazy to download them!

I still have not put in my rear diff bushings... A bit lazy on that one since there a few more items of greater importance. I'll have to see what you think about them.

I am going to do the Torque Solution Pitchstop mount and transmission mount and see how much slam I get rid of. I can make the rear end drop out the bottom sometimes :(

Slapped the new lip on! My night was cut short though since the side skirts were broken in half when I took them out of the box....
