I can imagine. The Mossberg 500 with an 18" barrel kicks the shit out of you when firing 00 buck, so the KSG is probably worse.

I buy all my ammo (5.56 and .40) from Cheaper Than Dirt usually. Some of the cheapest prices I've found lately. $180 for 500 rounds of brass FMJ 5.56, think the 500 rounds of .40 was like $110.
