Evo's have their own problems don't let any one fool you. They can only go about 450 on the stock block before it blows just like us. There are many people over on IWSTI.com and NASIOC.com that are over the 400whp number and have no problems on the stock engine. Yes their 6 speed has problems but from everything I have read and heard the 5 speed evo tranny is rather strong. The reason it seems like it is so much easier to make power on EVO's is that the 4G63 has been around since the mid 90s with the old 1st and 2nd gen DSM's. They were one of the first imports to really start to make a move on the domestics on the drag strip. As time goes on we are starting too see alot more high horse power STI's rolling around. We also starting to see better and easier ways to make power.

The one thing though that will always hold back the STI is the engine. Our engines are inherently inefficiencent compared to an I4 in the power department. Also the large bore to stroke ratio can be seen as another negative.

Holy crap it is fucking hard to get to the injectors on the driver side.... I just lost all the free-on in my car as I think I busted the gasket on the pump inside the engine bay.... Gonna call it quits for tonight and start fresh tomorrow....

Probably I've been abusing benadryl and nyquil lately. The differences in temperature here are killing my sinuses. 92* daytime 64* nighttime.

When I was jogging everyday I drank a gallon a day but now my work schedule is so hectic ive let myself go.
