Well, I think it's that time. UPDATES!!

This weekend was a fruitful weekend if I were to say so myself! It started small with just changing my up-pipe gasket to ripping the radiator out and timing belt covers so that I could add an extra shim in the oil pump. Then came the paint since everything was off...I got rid of the gold manifold because I wanted to change things up, so the Manifold is black and the piping is now black! I tightened my front sway bar to the stiffest setting and also lifted the motor so that I could FINALLY put in my Group-N engine mounts. I am finally all caught up on my part installs, lol. Took me almost 4 months to find the time to install all this stuff.

Let me just go on record with saying that Group-N mounts + Torque solution billet pitch stop mount + fluidampr harmonic balancer is so smooth in my car....SO SMOOTH, especially on power and even low rpm let outs on the clutch, no more slop :).

Probably the biggest accomplishment this weekend for me personally was the brake booster re-tap. When I reversed the manifold, the brake booster nipple went 3 feet across the engine bay and that would take my brakes about .5 seconds to get reaction after boosting and to kick it up a notch it was SUPER sensitive to vacuum changes (obviously). The tap was plugged and then I retapped the other side of the manifold - I used the spot where the turbo inlets secure themselves. Very nice.

As always, I have to thank my good friend Tony for all his assistance with the car and for letting me come down to his shop every weekend and play cars.

Future:
Jordan shipped me out some new gauges! Pretty exited to get them out of my face honestly because they are currently installed on the A pillar and I will be moving to a center ATI pod. Going with the same setup, boost and oil pressure but I think I want to do Oil temp with these as well so that I can start testing with oil coolers. Depending on how busy Jordan is this week, we will probably do some coilovers too. 500 Series with Swift springs and swift helper springs to put a cherry on top.

Stilllllllll cannot decide about a header :( I just don't want to spend 900 on one and I don't want to spend 300 on a shitty one...dilemmas...

I have been driving the car around for a week now without the subframe U bracket in, no difference in handling what so ever and I dont even have a strut tower brace anymore. :)

Muteki lug nuts came in along with STRI XLine V2 45psi boost gauge and Oil pressure gauge to replace my crap-tastic prosports. Thanks again Jordan.

P.S. Cant wait for the coilovers to come in.

I am kind of a whore when it comes to ordering parts from him. I am holding out that if I order enough parts, he will just sponsor a header :)

On another note, I need to get a vinyl together so I can throw him up on my car at some point.

I don't see IGOTASTi stickers on your STi. :(

I see that in their description that it is geared for smaller turbos. I don't think my 6262 will really see the type of benefit I am looking for, but then again something is better than stock.

I am using it and wondering if anyone updated the MAP sensor scaling settings along with it. I found an article on Perrins website about it:

Cobb AccessPORT MAP Sensor Cal(Located under Sensor Calibrations)
Scalar 625.07
Offset 8.69

OpenSource Tuning MAP Sensor Cal(Located under Manifold Pressure Sensor/Manifold Pressure Sensor Scaling)
Multiplier (PSIa/Volt) 12.087
Offset (PSIa) .168

AEM EMS MAP Sensor Cal(located under Sensors, Map Sensors, Options)
Min voltage .08
Max voltage 4.88
Scalar 3.8
Load offset 15.0
Filter 10
Frequency 0

I am currently tuned with Rom Raider and I won't be shy about how new I am when it comes to tuning, all I know is that this change from stock, SEVERELY changed the characteristics of the car. No knock events happened while driving, just seem to be back firing like a bazooka. Didn't seem terribly rich in boost or terribly lean (11.14 in boost).

Car was making 16/17 PSI before change and is now making just under 13, not sure which was the most accurate. I think I should watch my boost gauge to be 100%?
