GD Spoiler Modification

whats up guys i wanted to make a thread showing the mods i did to my rear spoiler on my hawkeye. first off i bought the Perrin wing stabilizers (4) but you can use however many u want. also went on amazon and purchased a carbon fiber wrap. it was actually pretty cheap here is the link:

it looks really good especially in the sunlight. pics just dont do it justice. here is the finished product

Not sure how I feel about 4 Stiffis, I'm partial to 2 (see my build thread for why). I am curious how you have them mounted though, they don't appear to be in the locations Subaru included (why they did I'm not sure either).

Oh, and IGOTASTI and IWSTi both have their strengths, IGOTASTi is more friendly and drama free (less morons on here) but IWSTi is more lively (like a combination of IGOTASTi and NASIOC).

That's what I figured. I may have to pull mine and remount them with fresh tape and no screws; mine are sitting funny again.

Same here, JJ, unfortunately the Stiffis are adjusting position over time so there are gaps both on top and bottom. Guess it's time for a reinstall and fresh double sided gunk.

We used a special 3M tape with the screws and nothing has moved.

Did it the same way too, I'm blaming the heat, sun and dryness of this place. Pretty much anything rubber or plastic dies here.
