so i feel very satisfied with today and my accomplishment.
customer came into work with a 16 Colorado that wants to have remote start installed. the car did not have keyless entry.
parts told me it cannot be done since the car did not have keyless entry and i refused to believe that. so i did some research and called GM and found out that it can be installed (and function) if the hood latch is replaced with the anti-theft latch (lets the car know that the hood is closed). sold the remote start, made some money and made a customer very happy since they were first told it couldnt be done and i went to "extreme lengths" to find out that it can be done.
p.s. go suck it Toyota for saying im bad with customers.
