top feed is standard on the EJ20. And yes I did, thanks, but I ended up buying a TD-05 16G and my old TD-O4 has been rebuilt and is ready as a backup.

Lol no problem man. When looking at your turbo, there should be a nipple with vacuum line coming off it. Follow that line. Does it go straight to your waste gate does it intersect with any other lines? I.E. a T fitting.

Hmmmmm...... you might want a boost controller dude.... Do you know if you still have your stock one? As I am not sure that a STI will work on your car. Plug wise. If it will you can have my old one as well man.
