So the battery voltage goes up when the car is off by .01 every 5 seconds or so....wtf? I feel like my security system is fried the light the was flash so fast and I have never noticed that before, ever. Even when the car is locked and then armed.

I really wish I knew what was wrong. I'm gonna look at the book again when I get home tonight.

DUDE!!! JJ now you know why I haven't any time on it (or money for that matter) I found something interesting tonight - My horns started just flapping on and on off. Once I pulled the square fuze it stopped clicking, but my lights were still flashing?? I really wonder if it is my security system or something.

Can you pull the fuse to disable it?

Thanks Flat! I really would just get a new block personally for time and money purposes, but there really is nothing wrong with rebuilding a block :)

Bracket

This car does not want me to succeed at all. But I did finally get around to cleaning up the alternator bracket/ac bracket and making it look SLIGHTLY more presentable,

I think I will take off the last portion of threads and round the top off and then paint it black.

I think we have it narrowed down to my main fuse. Going to pull it tomorrow. We think its still good, but it needs to be cleaned along with the inside of my terminals. So effing random. I will keep this up to date almost as fast as I update facebook.

I need to do some research about cleaning up my engine harness too. I have a lot of things I have removed and would like to clean up the connectors, but I kind of want to shave the whole thing down and remove ALL the wires I don't need anymore - I am pretty timid to try that myself, maybe send it off to EFI logics or something with the connectors taped off that I want removed?

Yeah the wiring in our cars is pretty intimidating. That is something I would probably leave to someone else. I was shitting a brick when I had to splice into one stupid wire at the ECU to pick up the speed sensor signal for the navigation and that was just one wire.

RIIIIIGHT?? I have looked at the wiring diagrams 100 times now from the alternator and random sensors I have been checking. My keyless entry seemed to be going hay-wire and clicking on and off, so I had to unplug it and take it out. I thought about my fuel pump relay sticking on too, I have heard it is super sensitive?
